Cara Reset Ulang Host File

Pengalaman ini dimulai ketika admin lagi perlu-perlunya untuk membuka situs Paypal untuk keperluan membeli domain di namecheap. Karena waktu itu lagi hebohnya promo "black friday", harga domain .com / .net / domain tld lainnya cuma kisaran harga 0.88 $.

Di situs namecheap untuk transaksinya cuma bisa lewat masterdcard Paypal. Waktu promo yang dikasih cuma 2x24 jam. Setelah mendapat kupon kode promo, proses pembelian pun dilakukan. Pada saat proses pembayaran, ketika ingin login ke Paypal, tidak bisa diakses sama sekali.

Internet lancar, situs lainnya aman-aman aja dibuka. Tetapi ketika membuka situs Paypal tidak bisa. Searchig di internet penyebabnya mungkin bergantinya host file window di laptop. Hal itu disebabkan mungkin karena sering menggunakan VPN untuk menyembunyikan identitas IP.

Jika masalah itu pun melanda anda, maka bisa mencoba tutorial dibawah untuk mereset ulang host file window.

Tutorial reset ulang host file window 10, window 8.1, window 7, window vista, window XP, window server 2008 dan window server 2003 :


1. Buka notepad.

Banyak cara untuk membuka notepad, salah satunya dengan tekan icon Window + R di keyboard anda. Kemudian ketikkan notepad di form aplikasi run yang keluar. Tekan Enter.

2. Copykan kode host file dibawah. Pilih sesuai dengan tipe window yang anda gunakan.

Windows 8.1, untuk Window 10 sepertinya juga bisa digunakan.

3. Pastekan di notepad yang telah anda buka tadi. 

4. Simpan notepad dengan nama hosts. Terserah simpan di folder mana saja, karena pada tahap selanjutnya akan dipindahkan.

5. Buka folder %WinDir%\System32\Drivers\Etc. Anda bisa membukanya dengan, tekan tombol Window + R di keyboard anda, pastekan 
%WinDir%\System32\Drivers\Etc di form aplikasi run yang keluar. Kemudian tekan OK.

Cara Reset Ulang Host File

6. Setelah keluar folder yang dibuka tadi. Di folder itu terdapat file dengan nama hosts. Ganti nama file tersebut dengan nama Hosts.old

7. Ambil file notepad yang telah anda simpan tadi pada tahap ke 4. Kemudian pastekan di folder %WinDir%\System32\Drivers\Etc yang telah dibuka tadi pada tahap ke 5.

Itulah cara reset ulang host file window 10, window 8.1, window 7, window vista, window XP, window server 2008 dan window server 2003, sekian semoga bermamfaat.
